ATG Quirky: It’s time to move book clubs out of living rooms and into brewpubs

At least that’s according to  J. Ryan Stradal who wrote The Lager Queen of Minnesota because he “wanted to bum around the country and research contemporary beer.”


He also wanted to “continue to fight for the assertion that books and beer are a natural pair.”

And in support of that proposition, Mr. Stradal  has posted 8 beer and book pairings “a short list of books that, in my opinion, share affinities with a particular beer or beer style.”

So kick back, relax, and sample a few of his recommended book and brew combinations.
