History and brief description of your company/publishing program:
Research Square exists to make research communication faster, fairer, and more useful. Since its founding in 2004, Research Square has helped researchers around the world get over 500,000 papers ready for publication in top journals. We offer expert language editing, translation, formatting, and illustration services for academic papers, books, and posters through the industry-leading author services brand American Journal Experts (AJE). In addition, we support the integrity of published scholarship through editorial checks provided for publisher partners (for issues like plagiarism, image manipulation, ethical approval, and reporting guidelines) and the broad sharing of research with animated Video Abstracts and Video Bytes.

In addition to our history of services for researchers, we have also created a large and growing collection of free resources about writing and publishing research papers, with articles available in six languages: the Author Resource Center (https://www.aje.com/en/arc/).
