Here is another fun literary post from the BUSTLE website! The author Charlotte Ahlin is a writer, actor, and artist, who is also an obvious admirer of science fiction. So much so that she thinks that “if you like listening to podcasts on your phone, or paying for things on your credit card, or using the occasional automatic door, then you owe a huge debt to sci-fi writers.” And then she goes on to prove it in her post 11 Real-Life Inventions Inspired By Science Fiction Novels.
