If you haven’t had the chance to test drive the new Microsoft Word 2017 here is an Open Letter to Microsoft About the AI in Word’s New Editor that may give you pause.
John Brandon, contributing editor at Inc. Magazine has a few bones to pick the folks at Microsoft. While he is OK with gentle corrections, he chides the new editor for “flagging me for Too Many Determiners … calling me out for an Incorrect Auxiliary… You’ve gone too far and you know it. I was perfectly fine living in my cocoon of illusion, never knowing I had issues with Vague Adjectives or an Indefinite Article.”
Mr. Brandon’s biggest fear? “Someday, Microsoft Word will take over the world… and will offer to write the article for me.”
