The key to book sale success? It’s simple according to this post in the Wall Street Journal. All you need to do is push book designers for brighter, bolder covers. The hot color of the moment? Yellow.
Evidently, it’s another spillover resulting from Amazon’s dominance of the market. Given that Amazon now sell 45% of all books it’s only natural that book designers are going in for “brighter, bolder covers that pop for online shoppers.” An eye-catching yellow fits the bill perfectly and yellow covers now seem to be everywhere.
