Watching TV serials for hours on end has become a favorite past time for millions.  So much so that Collins’ Dictionary has declared ‘Binge-watch’ the word of the year for 2015.

Although first coined in the 1990s ‘Binge Watch’ has “very much come to the fore in 2015 following a sea change in the way we watch television”. In fact, usage of the term is up 200% over 2014. Of course, Collins had a number of other candidates for this year’s honor so check out the link above to get the full story.

(Thanks, as always, to John Riley of Gabriel Books for providing ATG Quirkies!)
