Ambassador Hires Library Services Veteran Michael Cooper

Company Continues to Help Strengthen Library Programs Around the Country


Melville, NY – June 2, 2014 – Ambassador Education Solutions, experts in powering course materials management and delivery for higher education institutions, has hired Michael Cooper as Business Development Manager of its Library Services Division. Cooper has more than three decades of experience in the library services industries, where he has helped libraries around the world build robust collections of the most in-demand titles.

Michael brings a tremendous amount of insight and inspiring new ideas that we believe will help strengthen library programs everywhere.”

Cooper is working with Ambassador’s library customers, helping them define their collection strategies, build deep repositories of resources, and continually evolve their inventories with the most current and relevant titles. Cooper has started and operated his own library supply businesses over the last few decades. Most recently, he served as president of Busca, a niche library supplier of print and non-print titles, including difficult to find and limited distribution journals and periodicals, textbooks, reference works, monographs, and multimedia. He is a graduate of Colgate University.

Ambassador’s Library Services are utilized by schools, libraries and other educational institutions in more than 50 countries on five continents, connecting them to more than 3,000,000 book titles, over 100,000 eBooks, and 2,000,000 media titles. Ambassador helps boost library efficiency, reliability and convenience by supplying books and non-print materials from more than 30,000 sources, including international publishers.

Ambassador will have a team on site at the upcoming American Library Association (ALA) National Convention, the largest and longest-running tradeshow for the library marketplace. Ambassador will be exhibiting in booth #1718 and meeting with library professionals to discuss ways to streamline ordering, fulfillment and tracking, as well as the effective delivery of library materials that students and other users need most. The event takes place June 27th through June 30th in Las Vegas.
